Situated in the Norfolk village of Briston, our pub is family run for
all to enjoy at any time of year. Come and relax in the bar
or restaurant and enjoy home cooked food prepared by the
owner chef and his team.
We pride ourselves on having a great selection of wines,
local ales, gins and soft drinks. The garden is a lovely place to
pass the time of day when the weather is favourable and you can eat
there in sunshine or in the shade.
Our rooms are not quite ready yet, but when they are they
will be sublimely comfortable such that you will feel relaxed
from the minute you arrive.
Head Chef, Ryan Galvin, and his team are well qualified to cater for your "foodie" needs. They provide an eclectic and individual mix of dishes that
aims to suit all tastes and their individual and caring hand is always in evidence. They believe in using quality fresh ingredients in all their dishes,
using many local suppliers: the nearest one being in the field opposite!
On certain days there are guest chefs and the team prepare menus with a particular theme.
Good local ingredients, herbs from the garden and a great kitchen team, who put it all together.
We love to offer our guests variety so please note our menus change weekly and below are samples of the type of dishes we serve.

We take great care to select our ales and wines. We feature local breweries in particular Woodforde's and The Norfolk Brewhouse (Moongazer).
Our wine list is extensive and we have a cabinet full of bin ends should you wish to find something special. You will also find a good selection of
gins, rums and whiskies, and bottled beers, ciders and minerals.
Batemans XXXB - A malty multiple-award winner of CAMRA'S Champion Premium Beer Of Britain, XXXB is what you'd call an English tawny beer. Just like the first batch crafted in 1978, it's brewed with four malts and three varieties of hops, for a deliciously spicy, fruity and biscuity flavour.
Oltre Passo Falanghina - Falanghina is an ancient Italian white-wine grape reportedly of Greek Origin. It is grown in the Campania region of Italy, famed for pizza, the Amalfi Coast and Dolce Vita. The wine has a slight pine scent and citrus-blossom aromas. On the palate it shows apple and pear flavours and some spicy and mineral notes.
Convenient for Holt and all the North Norfolk coastline, The Three Horseshoes is a great place to stay. We have five luxurious rooms that are under
refurbishment at this very moment and will be ready soon. Each room has a new ensuite bathroom fitted to a high standard and will have Hypnos beds
that you will find extremely comfortable. We think you will particularly like our luxurious local Norfolk duvets (summer or winter weight provided)
and pillows that you just sink into. You might not want to leave!
