The Garden Story

Our vision for The Three Horseshoes is to create the perfect place for friends and family to relax and enjoy the food and drink offered by the pub. Tamara's design has created three distinct garden areas connected by paths and surrounded by soft planting. Customers can choose the space that is right for their mood and purpose. They might be visiting the pub for a lunch or celebrating a special occasion, the wisteria courtyard would be perfect as the space for dining and can be closed off to create a private event space. There is a beautiful area of grass under the mature ash tree, where garden tables can be easily moved to shade or sun. Then there is an area with solid garden pub tables, perfect for those close family groups or friends who want to spend an afternoon relaxing. The garden was planted in July 2019 - come and watch the garden grow!

A dream becomes reality

Tamara's well conceived design was developed by Bure Valley Landscapes. Chris Catt and his team painstakingly laid every path and terrace, built each pergola and helped Tamara plant the beds. It took over six months to complete the work and we are very pleased with the outcome. Here are just a few of the pictures that show the journey as the garden was created. There were a few challenges that Chris had too overcome and we want to thank him for all his hard work and perseverance.
