Explore SHERINGHAM

Situated along the North Norfolk coast is the Victorian town of Sheringham which was formally a compact fishing village. Today it is a bustling town and holiday resort with a sandy beach and busy high street, with market day held every Saturday. Within the town you will find a variety of cafes, shops, restaurants and pubs, along with The Sheringham Little Theatre which hosts live theatre shows, music and film screenings.

Sheringham is also the northern terminus of the North Norfolk Railway and part of the Poppy Line which runs through Sheringham, Weybourne and Holt. The Poppy Line and Sheringham Station also plays host to the annual 1940s Weekend. Travel back into wartime Britain for a nostalgic weekend of Home Guard inspections and rationed food, you may even bump into Winston Churchill! If peaceful country walks are more your pace then Sheringham Park is a must. Owned by the National Trust this beautiful park offers both long and family friendly walks within its 1000 acres.
